Concrete Drilling Unit

The Concrete Drilling Unit was designed to remove the concrete and fiberglass liners from tubing without the use of high-pressure water. The unit is a horizontal drilling unit that clamps the tube in place while drilling.

This Drilling Unit features a water system that flushes the cuttings out of the end of the pipe keeping the bit clean. The water system’s main purpose is to ensure that the bit stays clean of debris. The water is then recycled to be used again. The unit makes operations much easier because it does not require a high-pressure water stream (20,000+ PSI) to remove any debris from the bit. This project was done for an OCTG company to optimize and speed up tube production and inspection procedures, but the Drilling Unit could also benefit municipalities.
